This week we watched a movie, yes a movie.This movie pertained to Econ by showing us corporate empires and what we could do to be just like them. The movie was about Pepsi-co, the company that owns more than you would at first realize. Pepsi-co owns Pepsi (duh), Mountain Dew, Frito Lays, Aquafina and more.
Who knew Pepsi was that ambitious? "First the soda business, than the world!" That is why we have champions for good like Coke on our side to stop Pepsi and its corporate empire from spreading any further. Coke 1 Pepsi 0.
I too was surprised by the amount of products that Pepsi-co actually owned. Until I watched the movie I thought Pepsi-co just sold soda and chips. i thought it was interesting that they own Aquafina, Gatorade and other snack food! Awesome post!
ReplyDeleteI actually like Dr.Pepper better than coke and pepsi, but thats just my opinion. I would like to see a movie based on how they compete against coke and pepsi.
